Jennifer Lopez has been spotted heading to the gym in Miami flaunting her stunning form in a pair of skin-tight leggings.
Her
high-waisted tights, courtesy of the singer’s favourite brand Beyond
Yoga (which can cost upwards of $145 a pair), were teamed with
futuristic mirrored sunglasses, also in pink, a relaxed ponytail and
box-fresh white trainers. The 50-year-old completed the effortless look with a cute cropped sweatshirt that showed off her incredible abs.
Lopez, who is known for her style, teamed her workout combo with nails, lipstick and a smartphone cover, all in a soft pink hue.
In preparation for her most recent movie Hustlers, JLo told fans she’d given up sugar and carbs as part of a ten day challenge.
Cutting the two food groups was a suggestion made by her trainer, Dodd Romero, to help her prepare for her role, she said on an episode of The Ellen Show.
“(The challenge) was really hard. Not only do you get a headache, but you feel like you’re in an alternate reality or universe. Like, you don’t feel like yourself. You realise that you’re addicted to sugar,” she said.
In January she also shared a snap of one of her carb and sugar free meals, an Asian bowl, comprising of cauliflower fried rice, seared tuna, shaved brussel sprouts, yellow pepper, avocado and cucumber.
She’s also no stranger to sharing a sweaty gym selfie, proving she’s not afraid to work hard for something she wants.
Currently, the singer-actress is celebrating two major award nominations for her standout performance in the movie Hustlers, which is based on a true story about a group of former strip club workers who band together to rip off their Wall Street clients.
In addition, to Lopez, the film also stars Constance Wu, Julia Stiles, Cardi B and singer Lizzo.
In a previous interview with GQ, Lopez revealed the movie, one she also produced, was a passion project and she wasn’t paid for her performance.
“This is our movie, where we run sh*t,” she told the publication. “They know it’s all women producers, woman director, woman writer, all women starring in it.
“We’ve been watching men take advantage of women in movies for a long time, so it was a fun ride to see the tables turned.”
According to recent reports, the hit movie has made more than $217 million worldwide.
It is understood while Lopez did the film for free, it is likely she negotiated a deal where she will get a share of the profits once production and marketing costs have been covered.
