Jennifer Lopez surprised Britney Spears with designer gift
Britney was treated to a gorgeous pair of crystal studded shoes
Jennifer Lopez surprised Britney Spears this week by sending her a pair of high heels from her latest collection with top designer Giuseppe Zanotti. The Toxic hitmaker took to Instagram on Wednesday to show off the pale pink suede ankle boots, called Puchi, which boast crystal-studded heels and a matching strap. "Wow!! Look at these gorgeous heels!!" she captioned the image. "Thank you so much @jlo!!!! #GiuseppexJennifer."
Britney also shared the sweet handwritten message J.Lo had included in the gift, which regularly retails for £1,450. It read: "Britney, You are killing it in Vegas! Enjoy! Love, Jennifer". The two superstars are both Las Vegas regulars, sharing the stage at The AXIS venue at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
Britney is currently on the final leg of her Piece of Me shows, which will conclude its four-year run on New Year's Eve, while Jennifer's All I Have residency was recently extended into 2018.
The Puchi boot is a new addition to the singer/actress' Zanotti line, and Jennifer gushed about her latest creations in a post on Instagram last week. "It has been a dream to be able to collaborate with @GiuseppeZanottiDesign for my second #GiuseppexJennifer capsule collection," she captioned a photo of her new shoes.
Discussing the project with Footwear News, the fashion-forward star recently admitted a lot goes into coming up with the ideal heels. "Designing shoes requires a lot of discipline," she said. "You have to obsess over every single detail to make the perfect shoe. I enjoyed working with Giuseppe, who has a natural talent and a breadth of experience in fashion.
"I was happy with the outcome of the line, and it was a rewarding experience for me to see such a positive reaction to the shoes."
Britney isn't the only lucky recipient of a pair of the Giuseppe x Jennifer designs - dancer/actress Jenna Dewan Tatum, who hosts J.Lo's World of Dance reality show, was also sent a present in the mail last month.
